Michigan is the epitome of weather weirdness. A few days ago we fished in beautiful, warm weather. (I use the term ‘we’ loosely, as my contribution to the fishing expedition was hiking in and out supplies and relaxing by the campfire.) The day was perfect–spring temps, t-shirts, billowy clouds and singing birds. Our faces actually got sunburned, but it was worth it.
And then…
The next morning we woke to an ice storm. Will this winter never end?
You could be describing Utah. My kids went to school in sweaters this morning (after I refused to let them go in their shirtsleeves), and it looks like they’ll need coats and boots for the walk home.
I hope it warms up– and stays warm!– soon.
Sounds like a perfect day. I understand the weather changes, New England’s weather can change on a dime.
Alabama weather can be like that too. We always joke “If you don’t like the weather here, wait 5 minutes…” lol
Don’t feel bad. Here is the last few weeks for us down here in the boondocks.
Hot sun. Snow. Warm sun. Rain. Cool sun. Cloudy. Hot sun. Rain. Rain. Rain. Cloudy. Warm sun. Rain. Rain.
I think the river is going to reach the doors of Casa del MJ any day now.
It’s been dumping snow here all week. And before that we had crocuses coming up! Mother Nature is throwing a royal hissy fit.
